Meet Tom Petty! Tom Petty is a happy, people-loving pup who thrives on connection and play. He does great with kids and other dogs and absolutely loves playing with canine friends of all sizes. Whether it’s a game of fetch with his humans or romping around with another dog, TP is always up for fun. He’s a total “Velcro dog” who wants to be wherever his people are and will happily stick by your side. TP is currently working on potty training and crate training and is making progress with consistency and routine. Tom Petty would do best in a cat-free home, as he finds cats a little too exciting and prefers to bark and chase rather than coexist. With love, structure, and plenty of playtime, TP will make a loyal, affectionate companion for a family ready for an engaged and playful pup. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
