Meet Raine, a 6-year-old, ~70 lb sweetheart who finally got a break from the shelter for a special Dog Day Outâand wow, did she shine. ? In the shelter, Raine is often quiet. Youâll usually find her curled up on her bed, patiently waiting while louder pups steal the spotlight. She doesnât demand attention⦠but once you get to know her? Total hidden gem. ?? ?? First stop: the car ride. Raineâs favorite part of the day! She was a fantastic passengerâjumped right in, relaxed, and clearly living her best life. Did she reorganize the backseat first for maximum comfort? Absolutely. Was it hilarious and adorable? Extremely. ?? Adventure time! We enjoyed a long walk around Woodmore Towne Center and the surrounding neighborhood (shoutout to shoveled sidewalks ??). She pulled a bit at first, but as she settled in, Raine gave us some beautiful stretches of loose-leash walking. Busy traffic, cars zooming by, lots going on. But Raine was unbothered. Cool as can be. ??? Pet Supplies Plus Glenarden = BEST. THING. EVER. Raine explored every aisle like a pro. She strongly felt it should be a full shopping spree and was mildly offended when told she couldnât take home every treat bag, bully stick, and toy she conveniently knocked from the shelves. A compromise was reached: a Valentineâs Day cookie???? ?? Getting to know Raine: A little independent at firstâshe likes to handle her potty business and stretch her legs before settling in Knows âsitâ and âpawâ ?? LOVES stuffed toysâher playful side really comes out with a good stuffie (especially if youâll play with her!) Part of the gentle dainty playgroup Gorgeous rich brown coat with striking white markings ???? Raine has been waiting over a month for her new home. She may not rush up for attention, but give her a little time and youâll see just how special she is. Think Raine could be your girl?
