Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Event Schedule Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations: 2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express 3rd Saturday, Modesto - Strand Hardware Store 4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express Please visit the GCGSR Rescue Page for specific address information. All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once. Lucky is a smaller mix, super sweet and friendly. She is anxious in new situations, and looks to her handler for support. She is good with other dogs. No cats. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
