He survived hunger, fear, and even parvovirus — a battle many puppies don’t win — and came through it stronger and gentler than ever. Gus is a sweet, sensitive soul. He enjoys human affection, does well with other dogs, and is learning how to walk confidently on a leash. With patience and encouragement, Gus will absolutely blossom. He is expected to remain small in size (8 months old and 25 pounds), is neutered, and has been carefully cared for throughout her recovery. Gus would thrive in a calm, loving home that understands he's been through a lot — and is ready to show him what forever really means.
