Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Hi, my name is Jasper! I’m a loving, sensitive companion who thrives on attention and close connection with my people. I can be a bit fearful at times, so I do best in a calm, patient home with someone who understands my need for reassurance. I do not like crates, and I’ll need a tall, secure fence to keep me safe. I have lots of energy and would love a home that can provide plenty of playtime, enrichment, and quality time together. Snuggles are one of my favorite things, and I’d be happiest with someone who can spend most of their time with me. I would really benefit from continued training, and to help set everyone up for success, I come with a special visit from a member of our behavior team to offer guidance and support.
