Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 325. Guess Who’s Hitting the Adoption Runway? It’s your pal, Jack! Strut, strut Jack is ready to make his debut! This handsome little guy is a Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix, weighing in at a petite 5 lbs, and he is now neutered and vetted, which means he’s cleared and ready to find his forever home. Jack’s foster journey has been one of growth, confidence, and plenty of puppy charm. When he first arrived, he was scared and unsure—but within hours, he began to blossom. He quickly learned the lay of the land, started pottying outside, and even conquered the stairs to the couch (which he proudly claims for naps). Jack is very smart for a puppy and is doing really well with potty training. While he’s not 100% yet, he understands the routine, goes outside frequently, and continues to improve every single day. He’s also making great progress with crate training nearly sleeping through the night and almost going into his crate on command. This little guy is affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to his people. Jack is a phenomenal sidekick who will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. He has a playful, energetic personality and enjoys zooming through the house, exploring every smell, and attempting to recruit his foster siblings for playtime. Jack loves toys, tiny training treats, cozy dog beds, and has a healthy appetite for a growing pup. He’s learning basic commands like “drop it,” is motivated to learn more, and is getting used to everyday experiences like baths, nail trims, car rides, and new environments. Jack is dreaming of his forever home—one with patience, love, and someone looking for a loyal, kind, fun-loving companion. If you’re ready for a new best friend to kick off your next chapter, Jack is ready to walk the runway straight into your heart. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

More About Chiranian BreedOverview:
The Chiranian, also affectionately known as a "Pomchi," is a charming hybrid breed resulting from the cross between a Chihuahua and a Pomeranian. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the desirable traits of both parents, this small companion dog typically inherits a compact size, usually weighing between 4-10 pounds. Their physical appearance can vary, often featuring the long, soft coat of a Pomeranian in various colors, coupled with the alert, expressive eyes of a Chihuahua. Temperamentally, Chiranians are generally affectionate, lively, and intelligent, though they can exhibit a "big dog" personality in a small package, sometimes prone to being vocal. They are highly adaptable, making them an excellent choice for apartment living and can be suitable for families with older, respectful children. Health-wise, like many small breeds, they can be prone to dental issues, luxating patellas, and tracheal collapse, making regular veterinary check-ups essential for a long, happy life.
