Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Winneconne Application & Website: [.ourpackanimalrescue/adoption.html] Bio: Alyssa arrived in Wisconsin on 1/2/26 and has already investigated every inch of her foster home! During her first day, she has cuddled the neighborhood kids, made friends with the two other dogs in the house, located ALL the toys and blankets, and most importantly - found out where the food is stored! She is tiny, but she lets the dogs in the house know she isn't to be messed with (when she isn't busy snuggling with them, of course.) Puppies will be puppies—they scratch, nip, jump, have accidents, and chew on things they shouldn’t. They require time, patience, and consistent training. Please only consider adoption if you’re truly ready for the responsibility and lifelong commitment they deserve. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
