Dog Breed: Redbone Coonhound / Mixed. Meet Ruby, a sweet girl who has just been delt a rough hand. She transferred in from another rescue where she was in a foster home. In this foster home there were other dogs and Ruby did great with them, she was even good with the children in the home. If you look you will quickly see how thin I am, medically I'm as healthy as a horse, but my anxiety keeps me thin. The staff has done everything to help boost my weight and slowly they are seeing progress. If you look past my weight, you will see an adorable face with a fun loving personality. I'm always ready to go and up for a good time. My anxiety may be a lot for some families to handle, but if you are home a lot then you will be the right fit for me. I did leave the shelter on a trial adoption one time in the five months I have been here. There were other dogs in this home, and I was very reserved of my space, so they could not keep me. I would do best in a home with no other dogs or in an experienced home that can work with me on my guarding. I do well on the leash and I am housetrained..
