Meet Oscar — a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land At 15 years old and just 8.6 pounds, Oscar is a neutered senior gentleman who has clearly lived a long life one that hasn’t always been kind. Found as a stray, this little guy is underweight with some general muscle loss and an arched back, signs of a body that’s worked hard for many years. Despite it all, Oscar remains quietly hopeful and incredibly deserving of love. Oscar has a grade 2 heart murmur and periodontal disease, but he’s already on the path to feeling better. He is scheduled for a dental on January 20, during which several skin masses will also be addressed. Tired Dog Rescue is committed to giving Oscar the medical care he needs—now he just needs someone willing to open their heart to a senior who asks for very little. Oscar isn’t looking for long walks or big adventures. He’s looking for warm beds, gentle hands, a calm home, and someone who will love him for exactly who he is right now. Seniors like Oscar have a special way of loving—quietly, deeply, and with so much gratitude.
