Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Hello there my name is Dora (yes, like the explorer), and I’m a 5½-year-old, tiny Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a brave heart. My journey hasn’t been easy. I was once abandoned in the Arizona desert, but kind people found me and brought me to safety at a shelter. Thanks to some amazing humans, I got a second chance and made my way to sunny Southern California, where I’m now living in a loving foster home. I currently share my home with another dog, and I would do best with a canine companion.. When we first meet, I might be shy and a little scared.. But give me a little time (and patience), and you’ll see my playful, sweet personality shine through. Once I trust you, I truly blossom. Because of my rough start, I’m looking for an understanding family who will let me move at my own pace and show me that humans can be kind and loving. In return, I promise loyalty, gentle affection, and a whole lot of love in a tiny package. Would you take a chance on me and give me the forever home I’ve been waiting for?
