Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Meet Delilah! Delilah is a beautiful female German Shepherd, approximately 3–4 years old and weighing around 80 pounds, who is now ready to find her forever home. She was originally found as a stray near Guadalupe Drive in Rockwall on January 7, 2026. After completing her required stray hold period and not being reclaimed, Delilah is now available for adoption. Delilah is a very sweet, gentle girl with a loving disposition. She would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate dog. We are unsure how she will do with other pets in the home. Therefore, a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption if you have another dog in the home. Her adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, current basic boosters, and heartworm test. Delilah's spay surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026. This appointment is non-negotiable and required in accordance with Texas State law. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
