Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. *Name: Cinnamon *Age: 10 months old *Current Weight: 30-35 lbs *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Cinnamon is as sweet as her name! This lovely pup has a gentle, affectionate personality and is ready to bring warmth and love into her forever home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat-friendly—she gives them zero attention and happily goes about her day. Cinnamon is currently working on her house and crate training and is doing great with consistency and routine. She’s very food-driven, which makes her a fantastic candidate for training and learning new tricks. With a little guidance (and some tasty treats), she’s sure to shine. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who will fit right in with your furry family, Cinnamon might be your perfect match. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at snarrnortheast/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs

Overview:
The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
