Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Hound / Mixed. Meet Dash, an approximately 8-month-old Great Pyrenees/Hound mix that weighs around 50 Lbs. Dash has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He came to Rockwall Adoption Center when his previous family was no longer able to care for him and is now ready to find a forever home filled with love, structure, and adventure. He is a bright, happy, and outgoing puppy who loves to play, explore, and make new friends. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to help burn off his puppy energy. When meeting new people or dogs, Dash can be a bit vocal, simply because he gets so excited to say hello. As a young dog, he will benefit from continued training, consistency, and guidance to help him mature into a well-mannered adult. Dash would thrive in an active home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of time together, as he enjoys being part of the action. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and DAPPV booster, and heartworm negative. Dash has now earned Diamond Dog status as of 04/13/26, which means he has been in shelter care for longer than 90 days and his adoption fee has been reduced to $75. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
