Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Darryl is a stoic, German Shepherd with a calm presence and a nose that never stops working. Heâs very easy to handle - he walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is a breeze to get leashed up and out the door. In fact, heâll even come right over when he sees the leash, ready for his next quiet adventure. Darryl is happy to do his own thing. He loves sniffing around and exploring. He has a lower energy level and is more than capable of entertaining himself. Heâs not interested in toys, but treats will definitely catch his attention. He always takes them gently from your hand, even though he doesnât know any tricks just yet. Darrylâs has an independent personality makes him wonderfully low maintenance. He doesnât demand attention, but heâs happy to calmly stand by your side for as long as youâll pet him, quietly taking it all in. He may not show big reactions, but he does appreciate gentle affection in his own subtle way.
