Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Belinda ❤️ Belinda is a sweet, social female Cane Corso who made her way to us from California, and she has been winning hearts ever since! This beautiful girl has a soft, loving temperament and truly enjoys being around people and other animals. Belinda walks wonderfully on a leash and absolutely loves heading out for walks and adventures. She is very dog friendly and would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion. With her gentle nature, she would also do great with kids. We regularly take Belinda to dog events and social outings, and she shines everywhere she goes — this girl has zero stranger danger and greets everyone like an old friend. Even better, Belinda is cat friendly, making her an easy addition to many types of homes. We truly can’t say enough good things about her. Belinda is the total package and is going to make an amazing family dog for one very lucky household. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
