Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Mel is ready to find a new home! Mel was placed into rescue after a Good Samaritan was able to pick him up from the Walmart parking lot where he had been wandering for days. Mel was severely dehydrated and malnourished and had a raging untreated ear infection. Several weeks after being in a foster home, Mel is doing great! He is now neutered and his ears are healed and he is like a new man. Mel is wonderful with people and has a soft spot for children and older folks. He ignores cats and pretty much ignores other dogs. He is a spry older man who loves soft beds and his food. Mel would make a wonderful companion for anyone. He is scheduled for a dental cleaning soon.
