Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Valerie is an incredibly sweet puppy who’s curious, observant, and figuring out the world one experience at a time. She loves playing with other puppies and naturally follows the lead of confident adult dogs, which has helped her learn how to be a good canine citizen. With people, Valerie may take a minute to warm up, but it doesn’t take long. A little patience and consistency go a long way with her, and once she’s comfortable, she’s affectionate and easy to love. She’s still learning puppy basics like potty training and walking on leash and will need continued structure as she grows. At night, Valerie settles well in a crate and is already comfortable sleeping there. Like any young puppy, she’s still putting the pieces together, so the occasional accident is part of the process. Rescue story: Valerie had a rough start and was found after being thrown from a vehicle as a very young puppy. She was underweight and dealing with parasites, but with proper care she’s now healthy, growing, and doing exactly what puppies are meant to do. Valerie is looking for a home that’s ready for normal puppy work and all the fun that comes with it. She’s a sweet, adaptable pup who will continue to thrive with guidance, routine, and time. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption.
