Name: Silas Jr Best Guess for Breed: Lab and basset hound mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of January 2026 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 31 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Silas Jr. is Looking For: His forever home! This stubby legged cutie is eager to get his own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all those amazing adventures! And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. He'd like to make pup pals along the way as well. But you know what he wants most of all? To be safe and loved, to know where he belongs.
