Dog Breed: Shar Pei / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $500. Bear is a stunningly gorgeous 8-week-old female Sharpei mix that is even more beautiful in person. She is a love bug that weighs approx 8 1/2 pounds of love & sweetness and she has an adorable demeanor and disposition. She’s affectionate, loving and gives kisses. Bear loves everyone she meets and is amazing with children. She’s dog friendly with other friendly dogs and is a complete love bug. Who loves playing with her stuffed toys and loves her puppy naps. Puppy Bear has received her wellness exam, first round of puppy boosters, deworming, flea medication, is microchipped and ready to be part of a loving family. She’s a gem of a puppy that will be a great addition to any loving & happy home that want to welcome a precious puppy to their loving family. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
