Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Gypsy! She came to WAG as a lost dog, and sadly, no one came to claim her. Gypsy is timid at first, but is working on building confidence in people. For the people she has learned to trust, she shows off her sweet and playful side. Gypsy will do best in a home with people that can help build her confidence. Young children may be overwhelming for her, but tweens or teens might be someone she could learn to love. She does well with other dogs, and may enjoy having a confident dog in the home. As Gypsy was found running loose when she arrived at WAG, she does require a fully fenced yard for her safety. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application .wagsequimwa If you have any questions, please email: officewagsequimwa. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue)

Breed overview
Overview:
The Gerberian Shepsky is a hybrid of the German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky, emerging in North America as a modern companion with working-dog roots. Typically medium to large, they feature an athletic build, erect ears, and a dense double coat, often with striking blue or heterochromatic eyes. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and independence, making them affectionate yet occasionally headstrong. With very high energy, they thrive on daily exercise and structured training, suiting active families more than apartment living without ample outdoor time. Early socialization supports good manners with children and other pets. Notable health considerations include potential hip dysplasia and eye issues; regular vet care, weight management, and coat grooming help maintain well-being. Their typical lifespan ranges around 10–13 years, rewarding committed owners with a loyal, adventurous companion.
