Fiyero is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 12/9/25 he had a deep ear cleaning under sedation. Fiyero was found as a stray. We have no background on his life pre-rescue and cannot confirm his breed mix. We cannot guarantee that he is hypoallergenic or that he won't shed. Weight: 53 lbs Height: 24 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $699 Fence needed? Yes, Fiyero requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Fiyero can become easily overstimulated, especially in environments with a lot of activity or groups of other dogs. While he can coexist around dogs, he does not need a canine companion and may actually thrive as the only dog in the home. A quieter, more predictable household will help him feel safe and relaxed as he continues to decompress and learn what it means to be a full-time pet. Because of his sensitivity and tendency to become overwhelmed, Fiyero would do best in a home without children. He needs patient, thoughtful adults who can read his signals, respect his boundaries, and help him rebuild trust through kindness and consistency. What is my personality like? Meet Fiyero, a 2-year-old white male doodle with a tender heart and a gentle spirit. Fiyero is an incredibly sweet boy, but he carries clear signs that life hasn’t always been kind to him. He is sensitive to physical touch and may flinch at first when hands reach toward him, suggesting that not all of his past experiences with people were positive. Because of this, Fiyero needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time and who is willing to let him set the pace when it comes to affection. One place where Fiyero’s confidence truly shines is playtime. He loves toys - and fetch is his absolute favorite. Engaging in play is a wonderful way to bond with him and help him release energy in a positive, confidence-building way. On leash, Fiyero does pull, but he’s not a freight train - just a dog who could benefit from continued leash training and calm, consistent guidance. Fiyero is crate trained and keeps his crate clean, which shows his desire to do the right thing once he understands expectations. As a former stray, much of his history is unknown, but what is clear is that he wants to connect, he wants to learn, and he wants to feel safe. With time, patience, and understanding, Fiyero has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. For the right person - someone who values a gentle approach and is willing to let a dog heal at his own pace - Fiyero will be an incredibly rewarding addition to the family. How do I act when I first meet new people? Fiyero can be a bit tentative, but warms up quickly. Other tips and tidbits: Fiyero was found as a stray. We have no history on him. Based on his overall health and condition he is estimated at under 2 years old. We celebrate his birthday 04/26/24. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
