Austin is an adorable 3-month-old, 4-pound fluffy Terrier mix who may be the smallest of the bunch, but he’s packed full of charm and love. This little guy is very social and absolutely adores everything — people, playtime, cuddles, and being right where the action is. His mom is about 20 pounds and dad is unknown, but Austin is on track to become a wonderful smaller sized companion. He’s looking for a loving indoor home where he can grow up safe, spoiled, and part of the family. Like all puppies, Austin will need continued help with potty training, but he’s curious, eager to learn, and ready to blossom with a patient, loving family. If you’re looking for a tiny sidekick with a huge heart, Austin is ready to steal yours! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $300. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
