Foster Home Feedback 1/21/2026 Foster Feedback: Hitch has been with me for about three days now. He is super sweet with a gentle, slightly shy nature. He’s been settling in beautifully and gaining confidence each day. Once Hitch feels comfortable, his personality really starts to shine. Hitch has that perfect young-dog balance: some playful puppy energy mixed with a deep love for naps and lounging. Hitch isn’t a big fan of the cold, so potty breaks have required a little patience, but he’s already improving and learning the routine quickly. On leash, Hitch is a dream—he walks amazingly well with no pulling at all. While he hasn’t had a lot of formal manners training yet, he shows his affection enthusiastically by jumping up and offering lots of kisses, especially to faces. Hitch knows how to sit and takes treats very gently. He’s incredibly respectful with my senior resident dog, who likes to set clear boundaries when she’s tired or needs space. Hitch responds beautifully to her corrections and has been polite, calm, and thoughtful in their interactions. The two have been sniffing each other respectfully and are already becoming good friends. Overall, Hitch is a loving, sensitive, and affectionate young dog who will thrive in a home that continues to build his confidence and help him learn basic manners.
