Dog Breed: Border Collie / Australian Shepherd / Mixed. Riley is a smart good boy with the cutest bobbed tail. He is great with dogs and reported to be good with kids and cats. He is potty trained and crate trained. He was originally adopted to a farm home and did not do well with chickens. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). While generally good-natured and loyal, their high energy levels and need for mental stimulation make them best suited for active families or individuals who can provide consistent training and plenty of exercise; they are generally not ideal for apartment living. Potential owners should also be aware of common health concerns inherited from their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions (like Collie Eye Anomaly), and epilepsy.
