I sadly was abandoned in the scorching heat wearing a chain tied to a tree. Thankfully, I was found and rescued and taken home. I'm currently with my 15-year-old rescuer and his dad being well taken care of. Although I'm OK for a few hours alone, I'm not a fan of being left alone all day. Unfortunately, my rescue family is gone most of the day or they would keep me. I enjoy the company of humans and would do best in a very active family where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. I'm a total catch - I'm house and crate-trained, I've mastered the doggie door, and I know all the good boy commands. I'm a pro at 'sit', 'stay', and 'come', and I walk like a dream on a leash. I'm an active boy who loves going on walks, runs, and car rides. I'm always up for an adventure, especially if treats are involved! I'm a real people-pleaser and will do just about anything for a tasty reward. I'm also a pro at snuggling and will be the perfect companion for a family with children.
