Dog Breed: Corgi / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Kai's adoption is pending. She is getting a chance to see if she will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to Adopt program to give her a try in their own home. Kai is a Corgi, Mini Aussie mix. She can be shy upon initial greeting, but warms up quickly. She is good with other male dogs, not a fan with other females, does well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. So far she has not had any accidents in her indoor kennel overnight. With all dogs, you will need to learn their cues that they need to go out and the dog needs to learn your habits as well. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
