Recently having finished nursing, she stayed near one of her older puppies as she cautiously observed the world around her. Despite her fear, Mia’s heart opened the moment she was offered food. She allowed gentle pets and eventually relaxed enough to be picked up and placed safely in the vehicle with her pup. It was the first step toward a brand‑new life. Now, Mia is blossoming. Her skin is healing beautifully, her strength is returning, and she is learning what it feels like to be truly loved and cared for. She has discovered the comfort of a warm home and enjoys relaxing in spaces where she feels safe. Making dog friends has become a joyful journey for her—she now happily runs and wrestles with her foster's resident Lab and Pittie. While she’s still learning the art of taking breaks, her excitement to finally have friends her size is heartwarming. She has also recently discovered the pure joy of cuddling with humans and loves watching nature shows, completely mesmerized by the animals on screen. Mia is a tender, intelligent girl who is finally getting the chance she always deserved. Her confidence grows each day as she learns new things and experiences kindness in all its forms.
