Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Bruno Bruno is a handsome 2.5-year-old sweetheart with great house manners. He is house trained and crate trained, and does well in the home. Bruno is fine with people coming into his space with proper introductions and has always lived with a toddler, doing wonderfully in a family environment. Due to a growing family and another baby on the way, Bruno is sadly in need of a new home where he can continue to thrive and be included as a true family member. Bruno loves his toys, cuddles, hugs, and lots of affection. He’s a loyal, loving boy who wants to be part of daily life. He is dog friendly and unknown with cats. Kids are a bonus for this happy guy! If you’re looking for a committed, loving companion to join your family, Bruno may be the perfect match. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
