Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $200. Goose is a charming 10-month-old (estimated) pittie blend who is looking for a family to help his personality truly take flight! He was found as a local stray alongside his wingman, Maverick. Both boys arrived at the shelter quite thin and in need of some extra nutrition and care for their coats. However, this resilient young boy has made incredible strides in his recovery; as he’s already filling out and is getting ready to search for a cozy home to call his own. At just under a year old, he still has the puppy curiosity and a heart full of potential. While Goose can be a bit timid in unfamiliar settings or when meeting new faces, don't let his initial shyness fool you. Once he feels safe, he reveals a genuine zest for life and a goofy, affectionate side that will melt your heart. While we are still getting to know him, he hasn't shown negative behaviors toward other dogs, so we are excited to begin more formal introductions with other potential canine companions soon. We also plan to see how he feels about feline friends in the near future . If you have a little patience and a lot of love to give, Goose will be ready to be your most loyal companion soon! ** Goose has been brought up-to-date on vaccinations, but is awaiting his neuter surgery. This will take place within the next couple of weeks, so we are estimating him to be ready for adoption by 2/6/26.
