Because he was so sick, he had to be separated from the dog he came in with—Jordan, who we believe may be his brother. Those extra days waiting for him to recover felt long, but the moment he was finally safe, we saw exactly who Ian truly is: a gentle, loving soul just waiting to feel secure again. At first, Ian was understandably shy with people and other dogs. The world had been overwhelming, and he needed time to trust. But when he reunited with Jordan, you could see the reassurance wash over him—he knew he was safe. And once Ian feels safe, his personality absolutely shines. He finds his voice in the sweetest way—letting out the most enthusiastic, full-hearted “screams” of joy when someone walks into the room. It’s his way of saying, “I’m so happy you’re here!” He loves to hang out by your side, soak up treats, and walk proudly alongside you. Like his brother, Ian is incredibly well-mannered. He just can’t contain his excitement sometimes—he loves big, and he expresses it with his whole heart. Ian deserves a home filled with patience, warmth, and love—whether that’s together with Jordan or as someone’s one-and-only cherished companion. Now that he’s found his confidence, he’s ready to thrive as a loyal, joyful member of a forever family.
