Unfortunately, her elderly owner could no longer care for her, and so Kayla is now looking for a new family to share her life with. Kayla is a short-haired brown and white mixed breed pup, currently weighs 38 pounds. Kayla may grow and little bit more, but is expected to remain a medium size dog. Kayla is a friendly, affectionate soul who truly thrives on connection. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a perfect family companion. Kayla rides well in the car so she will be a great traveling companion for a family that is on the go from anything from local errands to outdoor adventures. Kayla is a higher energy gal and will need manners training as well as time to settle after transitions. She will also need consistent structure with ample exercise. All Kayla has ever known is love and comfort, and she dreams of finding a family that will give her the same. She is gentle, loyal, and ready to fill your home with happiness and unconditional love. Her journey of leash, and crate training is already underway, and she is eager to learn and please.
