Name: Marjorie Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua and dachshund mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of January 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 12.6 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter- needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Marjorie is Looking For: Her forever home! This small sweetie did an amazing job raising her babies Mason and Marigold to be great family pets and they're off to get their own families. Now Marjorie is seeking her own humans to love and be loved by. She's in her prime as an adult dog and is eager for long sniffy walks, romps, and all the adventures her family can dream up. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved, where she belongs. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say?
