Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Domino, a terrier mix born approx 11/2/5. Sweet little lady Domino is looking for her forever home! She absolutely loves being held and cuddled at only 10 weeks old. She is such a good dog, working on potty training with her 4 brothers, loves playing hard, sleeping harder, and eating, and trying to get treats. She hasn't been kennel-trained, just hangs with her siblings. Her mom is a terrier mix with a long body and shorter legs. We are not sure who dad is but we dont believe she will be a large dog, more medium-sized. She would love more attention and to be in a forever home to call her own! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
