Dog Breed: Chihuahua (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to .secondchancedogrescue and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Introducing Annabelle! This is beautiful, sweet, and affectionate little Annabelle. She is a 4 pound, 4 year old chihuahua, Pomeranian mix. She is potty trained, sleeps well in her crate, and is a happy girl. Annabelle loves adventures including car rides, walking the neighborhood, and playing in the yard. She is happy to meet new people and dogs. She is also content to snuggle with you on the couch and relax. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster family. Can you give her the very best home? She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to .secondchancedogrescue and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.

Physically, they are easily recognizable by their small, compact bodies, large expressive eyes, and erect ears, appearing in both smooth and long-coated varieties, showcasing a vast array of colors and markings. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
