Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Nole is a curious, playful, and surprisingly energetic little guy with a big love for life. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, trotting along on walks, and soaking up everything going on around him. When playtime winds down, Nole’s favorite place is right by your side—or better yet, in your lap. He’s a true lap dog who lives for gentle pets, belly rubs, and being close to his people. Affectionate and fun-loving, Nole strikes that perfect balance between active companion and devoted cuddle buddy. He would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention, love, and time to bond with his humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful best friend who’s always happy to be petted and adored, Nole may be your perfect match. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
