Dog Breed: Siberian Husky / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Axel loves walks in the park and practicing commands for treats. He already knows sit, shake, and down. Heâs been at the shelter for over a year and a half ?? Unfortunately, we think Axel is overlooked due to his age. We have over 30 huskies in our care and oftentimes folks opt for a younger model. :( Another added factor is that he can sometimes be a little protective over his food and toys! Our shelter volunteers are working on training with him, and we feel behavior is very manageable in a home with adults. We donât think Axel deserves to spend live in the shelter because of something that just takes a little extra intention to work on. ?? ?
