Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meatball arrived as a stray on 1/20 and is ready for a quieter, more stable environment. The shelter has been overwhelming for him, and he will do best in a calm, structured home where he can decompress and settle into a routine. He thrives with guidance and slow introductions, and once comfortable, his sweet side shines. Meatball is gentle, easy to handle, walks nicely on leash, and takes treats softly. He loves affectionâespecially butt scratchesâand will even rub up against you like a cat. Medically, Meatball has arthritis from a past CCL injury and some minor skin issues, both currently being managed. He would do best in a low-impact, relaxed home.
