Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Buster Buster is a 7-month-old Lab mix, about 26 lbs. who’s looking for his forever home. After being being left behind by neighbors that moved, this sweet boy was facing a very uncertain future - and now he’s now in foster care in San Antonio until the end of March while we search for the right family for him. Buster loves people. Truly loves them. On walks, he wants to greet everyone he meets, tail wagging the whole time. He’s happiest just being near his humans - wherever you are, that’s where Buster wants to be. He’s a total snuggle bug and melts for ear rubs, chest scratches… honestly, any affection at all. He’s also very interested in other dogs and would do well in a home with canine companions who are on the chill side. Like many puppies, he’s still learning his manners and can get a bit jumpy with both people and dogs - but he’s smart, eager to learn, and already picking up on what’s allowed and what’s not. He was already house trained and crate trained. Buster isn’t food-driven. His joy comes from connection, companionship, and being part of a family.
