Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Forever home wanted, meet adorable Nellie! Nellie came to the rescue with her 7 siblings and momma Honey on December 15th. Honey was found by some hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail and clearly had been abandoned. Thankfully the finder was an animal loving couple that saw to it Honey got to safety. It's a good thing they took her under their wing because 4 days later, she gave birth to the 8 puppies! Nellie is a fun loving, sweet little girl like all of her siblings. She is all black with the cutest patch of white with black spots on her chest. They are in a foster home with a very experienced foster who is working with them to make sure they are well socialized, working on potty training and getting exposed to a crate. They have tons of toys to play with and are getting introduced to balls and fetch. Nellie will be ready to go to her forever home when she is 8 weeks old which is February 5th.
