Name: Star Best Guess for Breed: Lab and boxer mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of January, 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 53 lbs Gets Along With: Other Dogs! Star is not recommended for a home with cats. We haven't seen her with kids, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - Star needs a foster or adopter to make her way to the DC area Star is Looking For: Her forever home! This pretty sweetie has all that awesome young-dog energy to burn and she's eager to get her own humans for that. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! Making pup pals along the way is on her wish list as well, along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. And at the end of a fun day together - cuddles. But most of all she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved.
