Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Glacier is currently weighing in at a whopping 1,965 grams (about 4.3 lbs) and her personality is just as big. Her ’tude is all the way up, and she knows exactly what she wants. Like a true winter baby, Glacier loves a good swaddle and insists on being carried along for a full tour of the house while you try to get things done one-handed. She’s vocal, expressive, and absolutely convinced she deserves your full attention at all times. At 5 weeks old, Glacier is: • confident and bold • very vocal about her opinions • a fan of being carried and involved • ridiculously adorable Glacier will be ready for her forever home mid to late February, will be up to date on age-appropriate care, and will go home with a spay contract. Big girl. Big personality. Zero apologies. ❄️

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
