Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 600. Hi! I’m Aurora, a young Labrador/Shepherd puppy. I’m a total sweetheart with a whole lot of puppy love to give! I love people—new friends are my favorite, and I’ll happily crawl right into anyone’s lap. If you pick me up, I’ll just melt into your arms and stay there as long as you’ll hold me. In my current foster home I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m pretty sure I’d adore them too. I’m a cozy girl at heart. I love napping on my bed during the day, curling up on the couch, and claiming any blanket I can find as my own. When I’m not snoozing, I’m busy being a playful little goofball. I enjoy tug-of-war, fetch (even if I don’t always want to give the toy back), and wiggling around on my back or lounging in the silliest positions. Fair warning: I’m a puppy, so toys beware! I like to chew and “redecorate” my toys, especially my tough stuffed animals. I’ve got that classic puppy energy too—I’m usually up around 5am ready to play, then I crash for a good nap and repeat the fun later in the day. I eat twice a day, hang out in my pen while my humans are at work, and once they’re home it’s playtime again followed by relaxed evenings together. My absolute favorite thing is going outside to run, explore, and go for walks. My least favorite thing? Bedtime. But I do sleep nicely in my kennel with a cozy blanket. I’m doing great with potty training and catching on quickly.
