Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $40. Hi. Hello. It’s me… Leo. Your Valentine. Roses are red, Violets are blue, I’m a 21-lb tricolor heartthrob, And I might be the pup for you. I’m Leo, a 3½–4 month old growing boy with big puppy eyes, a wag that could power a small town, and excellent cuddle potential. I specialize in puppy kisses, goofy zoomies, and making you laugh when you least expect it. Basically, I’m the total Valentine package. Let’s talk commitment —for just $40 (yep, my adoption fee is sponsored!), I come fully vetted like the classy gentleman I am. That includes: ❤️ Distemper/Parvo vaccine ❤️ Rabies vaccine ❤️ Neuter ❤️ Vet exam ❤️ Fecal test for parasites ❤️ General dewormer ❤️ Microchip (so I always find my way back to you) I’m young, handsome, and still learning the ropes, which means we can grow up together. You bring the love, patience, and treats… I’ll bring the loyalty, laughs, and unconditional devotion. Deal? If you’re ready to meet your four-legged Valentine, call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. Don’t break my heart—come meet me soon!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
