Description
Dog Breed: German Pinscher (short coat). Meet Boo Boo! This girl is ready to head to NJ, she just needs an adopter or foster to make the trip Meet Boo Boo Your Future MVP! This 1-year-old German Pinscher Mix is ready to bring the pawer to your team! Currently heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and already spayed, Boo Boo is gearing up for a lifetime of adventure and cuddles! Whether you're hiking the trails, biking through the neighborhood, or cheering on your favorite team on a lazy Sunday, this little girl will be your best teammate. As any rookie player would, Boo Boo’s still working on her game plan—perfecting leash walking, mastering commands, and working on potty training—but trust us, she’s ready to learn and impress! With a heart full of enthusiasm and a tail wag that’ll leave you smiling, Boo Boo is just waiting for the right coach (that's you!) to show her the ropes. Boo Boo is currently in a foster home and her foster mom says that she is the sweetest girl and loves her so much. She deserves to find the right forever home for her bubbly personality. Boo Boo is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to wag-on-inn . Breed overview
German Pinscher
A.K.A.: Deutscher Pinscher, Standard Pinscher, Mittlere Pinscher
Overview:
The German Pinscher is a sleek, medium-sized breed originating from Germany, where they were historically used as farm dogs for vermin control. They are characterized by their athletic build, short, smooth coat typically in black, red, or fawn, and a distinctive wedge-shaped head with alert, intelligent eyes. Weighing between 25-45 pounds and standing 17-20 inches tall, they possess a naturally elegant posture. Temperamentally, German Pinschers are known for being lively, intelligent, and strong-willed, displaying a confident and playful nature. While they can be excellent family companions due to their loyalty and affection, their high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean they thrive with experienced owners who can provide consistent training and ample exercise. They can adapt to apartment living if their exercise needs are met, but a yard is often preferred. Generally a healthy breed, some lines may be prone to hip dysplasia, eye conditions, or Von Willebrand's disease, so responsible breeding practices are crucial.
