Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. *Name: Cinnamon *Age: 10 months old *Current Weight: 30-35 lbs *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Cinnamon is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart without ever demanding the spotlight. This sweet girl is very shy at first and takes her time learning to trust, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving nature truly shines. She absolutely loves other dogs and finds so much comfort and confidence in having a canine companion by her side. A home with a friendly, patient dog would be her dream come true and will help her continue to blossom. Cinnamon is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can move at her own pace and feel secure—because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. Loud environments just aren’t her style, but give her peace, patience, and love, and you’ll watch her slowly come out of her shell in the most beautiful way. If you believe the best bonds are the ones built with time, trust, and a little bit of magic… Cinnamon might just be your perfect match! IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at snarrnortheast/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs

Overview:
The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
