Description
Dog Breed: Boxer (short coat). Meet Chloe Chloe is another young boxer being given away on Facebook. A CH Boxer Rescue volunteer stepped in and Chloe was safe that same night. At just 7 months old, Chloe arrived underweight and overlooked, clearly missing out on the care and attention every puppy deserves. Fast forward a little love and full meals later, and she’s blossoming. She’s bouncy, silly, and full of puppy joy, complete with happy zoomies now that she has energy to spare. Chloe is still very much a baby—affectionate, playful, and eager to be someone’s best decision. She was a superstar at the vet. She’ll be ready for adoption in a few weeks once her puppy vaccines are complete. Available in the Northeast (NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, PA, DE, MD, NoVA) Apply at: .chboxerrescue

Overview:
The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired dog breed of German origin, known for its distinctive appearance and vibrant personality. Physically, Boxers possess a strong, athletic build with a characteristic square head, an undershot jaw, and often a docked tail and cropped ears (though these practices are becoming less common). Their short, glossy coat typically comes in fawn or brindle, often with white markings. Temperamentally, Boxers are renowned for being incredibly loyal, intelligent, and energetic, making them fantastic companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and can be playful and patient with children, making them excellent family pets. While their energy levels require regular exercise, their adaptability means they can adjust to apartment living if their activity needs are consistently met. However, potential owners should be aware of certain health considerations, including a predisposition to some cancers, heart conditions like cardiomyopathy, and hip dysplasia, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups.
