Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Mixed. Althea may be feeling a little naked right now! When we found her, her coat was so matted that she needed to be shaved down. But as her hair grows back, we know she’ll be just as beautiful on the outside as she already is on the inside. Althea is a sweet, gentle girl who loves other dogs and does great with kids. At just 10 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddles, laps, and easy adventures. Althea is looking for a furever home — and she also urgently needs a foster in San Diego while she waits for her perfect match. Fostering saves lives and helps dogs like Althea continue to thrive in a loving home environment. We also encourage foster to adopt! Please note we do not usually adopt outside of San Diego County and surrounding areas.
