Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Meet Augie! Augie is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix with a curious mind that shines through in the cutest ways. He’s the kind of guy who can entertain himself with just about anything — even a leash, which he’ll happily drag around as if it’s his own personal toy. Treats are Augie’s greatest motivation. He loves them so much that he sometimes forgets to chew, which only adds to his endearing personality! Augie is dog-friendly, though very large dogs can be a bit intimidating for him at first. With appropriate introductions, he does well and will likely continue to gain confidence. He also enjoys going for strolls and would love a home that can provide regular walks and enrichment. We are still getting to know Augie, and his profile will be updated as we learn more. Augie will need formal cat testing prior to placement.
