Description
Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Pepper arrived at the shelter after experiencing terrible injuries from a neighboring dog. She required medical care that the owner was unable to provide so the shelter stepped in and after just a few short weeks she is healing perfectly! Pepper is currently living in the office with the staff and is soaking up every bit of the attention and care. She is definitely a people and treats kinda girl, still assessing her other likes and dislikes as she continues to improve medically. She would be most appreciative of the second chance to be in her very own forever family! All Perth Amboy Animal Shelter residents will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. You must be 23 or older to adopt from the shelter, complete an Adoption Application and pay the associated adoption fee. The application must be approved by the shelter staff and all adoptions are finalized based on the best interests of our animals. Come visit us Monday - Friday between 10am and 4pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10am - 3pm. Contact us at (732) 324-3877 and don't forget to ask about our Foster Program!
