Description

Dog Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Luna was born about September 17, 2024 and will weigh about 55 pounds when filled out. It was a very sad day when her family received word that the owner of their rental had passed away and the house was going up for sale and they were forced to move. The tried and had friends try to find a new place for the family and 2 dogs but no vacant rentals were to be found. We welcomed Luna to Joyful Rescues and she was wonderful with the other like sized dog she lived with and the cats and she were good snuggle friends. The kids were as young as 2 and she was always wonderful with them. She is house trained, enjoys car rides and loves to go for walks on leash which she does well with. Due to her possible Husky heritage she should have a fenced yard or be leashed. This pretty blonde girl is here through no fault of her own and we hope to find her another home, a forever home, soon. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $ 500.00__. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
